San Jose State will be in front of their home fans on Friday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. Meanwhile, the Air Force extended their game-winning streak to eight on Friday. They strolled past Utah State with points to spare, taking the game 39-21. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for 16 points.

Among those leading the charge was FB Emmanuel Michel, who rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns. RB Owen Burk and his 110 yards on the ground were another key factor in the Air Force's victory.

San Jose State's status as the underdog is well-deserved: they've lost three of their last four contests. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, as in included the 2-0 Trojans (San Jose State's opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 79.2% over those games). Meanwhile, the Air Force's win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-0.
