1st Quarter Recap

The San Diego State Aztecs are ahead after one, as expected, but they'll have to keep working the rest of the way. Either squad is in a position to win, but they lead 7-3.

They have enjoyed the tag-team combination of WR Jesse Matthews and QB Ryan Agnew. The former has caught two passes for one TD and 37 yards, while the latter has passed for one TD and 71 passing yards on ten attempts. The Central Michigan Chippewas have been riding high on the performance of WR Kalil Pimpleton, who has caught one pass for 61 yards.

This is the first time San Diego State have been ahead going into the half in the past three games.
