Play of the day: Georgia Tech was on the verge of tying Georgia at 7 when S Bacarri Rambo ripped the ball from Tech A-back Robert Godhigh on the 1 and returned it to midfield. Eight plays later, Gurley’s 1-yard TD run made it 14-0 Bulldogs.

He said what? Florida coach Will Muschamp upon being told the Gators were underdogs in Tallahassee on Saturday -- "Were we underdogs? I can't believe we're fourth in the country and we're an underdog. What are you guys thinking?"

RapidReports defensive star of the day: Georgia’s Rambo. In addition to his game-changing strip of Godhigh, one of two fumbles Rambo forced in the first quarter, he picked off Vad Lee late in the second quarter. That was his 16th career interception, tying Jake Scott's school record.

Runner-up: South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney had 4.5 sacks among his seven tackles in the win at Clemson.

RapidReports offensive star of the day: Tennessee's Bray. The junior was 20 of 34 for 293 yards and four TDs without an interception against Kentucky. Bray finished the season with 34 TD passes. Now the question is whether he'll turn pro.

Runner-up: Alabama's McCarron. He finished the regular season with 25 TDs against two INTs after throwing for four scores Saturday.

2nd Runner-up: Ole Miss' Moncrief. Punishing Mississippi State's elite secondary, the sophomore had seven catches for 173 yards and three scores.

His seat is getting uncomfortable: Auburn coach Gene Chizik has been on the hot seat for several weeks now, but his team hit another low vs. Alabama. University president Jay Gogue has promised to evaluate Chizik and the program immediately after the season. Well, the season's over -- it was Auburn's worst in 60 years.

Why you should care about these stat lines:

  • Vanderbilt's Rodgers goes 17 of 23 for 229 yards and two TDs. It was his fifth straight game with two scoring passes.
  • Florida's Gillislee ran for 140 yards and two TDs on 24 carries. He did it against the nation's top-ranked rushing defense.
  • Ole Miss' Wallace threw five TD passes against two INTs. Just a redshirt sophomore, Wallace was 15 of 22 for 294 yards and ran for 40 yards. The Rebels bring one of the SEC's top offenses into 2013.

Key number: 14. That's how many TDs Gurley has rushed for, tying Knowshon Moreno for second-most in a season by a Georgia freshman. Hershel Walker's record is 15.
