Florida RB Mike Gillislee was named offensive player of the week by the SEC after having one of the most impressive performances of his career in a 14-6 win over LSU on Saturday.
The Gators leaned heavily on the senior RB, who had 34 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
None of his runs were longer than 12 yards, but he wore down the Tigers' defense with his physical style. The Gators capitalized on the tiring LSU defense by outscoring the Tigers 14-0 in the second half.
His 146-yard performance marked the most rushing yards LSU has given up since it allowed Arkansas RB Knile Davis to run for 152 yards in 2010.

Co-Defensive Players of the Week: Florida SMatt Elam (7 tackles, FF) and LSU LB Kevin Minter (20 tackles, 3 TFLs, 2 sacks, FF).
Co-Special Teams Players of the Week: South Carolina PR Ace Sanders (70-yard punt return for a touchdown) and Vanderbilt P Richard Kent (Averaged 45.2 yards per punt).
