Live scores, highlights and updates from the South Carolina vs. Auburn football game
Game Recap
The point spread favored the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, but luck did not. Auburn didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 21-17 to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Auburn was up 14 to nothing at the end of the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
South Carolina's RB ZaQuandre White was one of the most active players for the squad, snatching one receiving TD. QB Jason Brown didn't exactly stuff the stat sheet, but finished with three touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Auburn got a solid performance out of RB Tank Bigsby, who rushed for one TD and 164 yards on 22 carries.
Auburn's overall record fell to 6-5. The Gamecocks' win ended a three-game game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5.
Auburn will look to defend their home turf next Saturday against the Alabama Crimson Tide at 3:30 p.m. ET. USC will stay at home against the Clemson Tigers at 7:30 p.m. ET Nov. 27 at Williams-Brice Stadium. USC will need a sterling offensive performance if they want to penetrate an unbending defense that has allowed an average of only 16.36 points per game.
