South Florida vs. Tulsa Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Friday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the South Florida vs. Tulsa football game
Game Recap
After losing to the South Florida Bulls the last time they met, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Tulsa blew past South Florida 42-13 on Friday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Golden Hurricane had established a 42-13 advantage.
RB Deneric Prince hadn't helped Tulsa's cause all that much against the UCF Knights three weeks ago, but the same can't be said for this game. Tulsa can attribute much of their success to Prince, who rushed for two TDs and 109 yards on 15 carries. Prince put himself on the highlight reel with a 62-yard TD scramble in the third quarter. Tulsa's LB Zaven Collins got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the third quarter into a touchdown.
No one had a standout game offensively for South Florida, but WR Bryce Miller led the way with one touchdown.
The win got the Golden Hurricane back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped the Bulls' record to 1-4.
Tulsa will square off against the East Carolina Pirates at 1 p.m. ET next Friday at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium. Tulsa is 1-0 after wins this year, and East Carolina is 1-1 after losses. South Florida can take some time to mend their wounds since their next matchup isn't for a while. They will face the Memphis Tigers at Liberty Bowl Memorial at 1 p.m. ET in two weeks.
