STAN vs. UCLA: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Stanford vs. UCLA football game
Through 3 Quarters
Only one more quarter stands between the UCLA Bruins and the victory they were favored to collect going into this evening. They have emerged as the frontrunner and are ahead of the Stanford Cardinal 21-14. RB Zach Charbonnet has led the way so far for UCLA, as he has rushed for one TD and 96 yards on 19 carries in addition to catching five passes for 56 yards.
The Bruins are struggling to protect the pocket and have allowed four sacks. They are going to have to protect QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson better if they want to hold on to their lead.

No. 24 UCLA @ Stanford
Current Records: UCLA 2-1; Stanford 2-1
What to Know
The UCLA Bruins are 1-5 against the Stanford Cardinal since October of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Saturday. UCLA and Stanford will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 6 p.m. ET at Stanford Stadium. If the contest is anything like the Cardinal's 48-47 win from their previous meeting in December of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
The Bruins were close but no cigar last week as they fell 40-37 to the Fresno State Bulldogs. If the result catches you off guard, it should: UCLA was far and away the favorite. A silver lining for them was the play of QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who passed for three TDs and 278 yards on 24 attempts in addition to picking up 67 yards on the ground.
A well-balanced attack led Stanford over the Vanderbilt Commodores every single quarter on their way to victory last week. Stanford took down Vanderbilt 41-23. Stanford QB Tanner McKee was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 218 yards on 29 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown.
The Bruins and the Cardinal now sit at an identical 2-1. A couple defensive stats to keep an eye on: UCLA is stumbling into the game with the 240th most passing yards allowed per game in the nation, having given up 342.7 on average. Stanford has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 204th worst in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game, with 210.7 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
