Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh football game
Pittsburgh is 7-1 against Syracuse since October of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Both teams will face off in an ACC battle at 3:30 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium. Pittsburgh is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Saturday, while it was Pittsburgh who put the first points on the board, it was Florida State who put up more. The game between both teams wasn't a total blowout, but with Pittsburgh falling 24-7 at home it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, Syracuse's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 17-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boston College.
Despite the defeat, Syracuse got a solid performance out of LeQuint Allen, who rushed for 142 yards while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Allen was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
Pittsburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Syracuse, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Not only did the pair lose their last games, but neither team managed to cover the spread. Going forward, the matchup is expected to be close, with Syracuse going off as just a 3-point favorite. This contest will be their sixth straight as the underdogs (so far over this stretch they are 0-5 against the spread).
Pittsburgh beat Syracuse 19-9 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pittsburgh since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
