The Syracuse Orange and the South Florida Bulls will square off in the Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday. Syracuse is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

They really took it to Charlotte for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-14 win at home. The victory was just what South Florida needed coming off of a 49-21 defeat in their prior contest.

Byrum Brown had a dynamite game for South Florida, throwing for 253 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelley Joiner, who gained 104 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory got Syracuse back to even at 6-6. As for South Florida, the victory also got them back to even at 6-6.
