Temple vs. Miami (FL): Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Temple vs. Miami (FL) football game
Miami (FL) have so far played every game this season on their home-field, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will face off against the Temple Owls at 3:30 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games.
Last Thursday, Miami (FL) humbled Bethune-Cook. with a 48-7 smackdown. With Miami (FL) ahead 34-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
QB Tyler Van Dyke looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 247 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 16 yards and a touchdown. Van Dyke wound up with a passer rating of 201.5. Miami (FL) also got help from WR Xavier Restrepo who showed off his sure hands for 120 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing seven points in their last contest, Temple made sure to put some points up on the board against Norfolk State on Saturday. Temple simply couldn't be stopped and they easily beat Norfolk State 41-9 at home.
Among those leading the charge was RB Joquez Smith, who rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown. Smith was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. QB Quincy Patterson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Looking ahead, the game looks promising for Miami (FL), as the team is favored by a full 23 points. This will be their first time playing on the road this season.
