Tennessee vs. Missouri updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Tennessee vs. Missouri football game
Game Recap
A well-balanced attack led the Tennessee Volunteers over the Missouri Tigers every single quarter on their way to victory Saturday. The Volunteers blew past Mizzou 35-12. That result was just more of the same for Tennessee, who also won the last time these teams played (Nov. 23 of last year).
Tennessee's RB Eric Gray was on fire, rushing for one TD and 101 yards on 16 carries in addition to catching 16 passes for one TD and 105 yards. QB Jarrett Guarantano had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
The losing side was boosted by RB Larry Rountree III, who punched in one rushing touchdown.
The game brought Tennessee to 1-0 and dropped Mizzou to a mirror-image 0-1.
The Volunteers will take on the Georgia Bulldogs at noon ET next week at Sanford Stadium. Mizzou will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Tiger Stadium at 9 p.m. ET next week.
