Texas A&M vs. UL Monroe Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Texas A&M vs. Louisiana-Monroe football game
UL Monroe haven't yet left their home-field this season, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will take on the Texas A&M Aggies at 4:00 p.m. ET at Kyle Field. UL Monroe will be strutting in after a victory while Texas A&M will be stumbling in from a loss.
Last Saturday, UL Monroe was able to grind out a solid win over Lamar, taking the game 24-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for UL Monroe.
Meanwhile, the point spread favored Texas A&M on Saturday, but luck did not. They lost to Miami (FL) on the road by a decisive 48-33 margin. Considering how many points were scored, both coaches might be spending a little more time focusing on defense before their next games.
Despite the defeat, Texas A&M got a solid performance out of QB Conner Weigman, who threw for 336 yards and two touchdowns on 53 attempts. RB Earnest Crownover also helped out by posting a receiving touchdown.
UL Monroe will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 5-7 record against the spread.
That disadvantage in the odds might be especially worrying for UL Monroe considering the team was a sub-par 2-8 as the underdog last season. A bettor who placed a $100 dollar bet on them to lose every one of the 12 games they played last year would have netted $588.46. On the other hand, Texas A&M will play as the favorite, and the team was 4-3 as such last season.
