Game Recap

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks weren't able to make up for their loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders from their previous meeting in September of 2016. The Lumberjacks were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 28-22 to Texas Tech.

The loss dropped Stephen F. Austin back to even at 1-1. Texas Tech's win brought them up to 2-0.

Stephen F. Austin will take on the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at home. Mississippi Valley State also suffered a recent defeat, falling 35 to nothing to the Murray State Racers last Thursday. The Red Raiders will play host again and welcome the FIU Panthers to Jones AT&T Stadium, where kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET next Saturday. Unlike Texas Tech, FIU will be stumbling in off of a defeat.
