De’Anthony Thomas played the hybrid RB/WR role as a freshman last season but with a lack of depth in the backfield this spring, he said Friday he’s been working mainly with the RBs during the first three practices. Thomas rushed for 595 yards and seven TDs on 55 carries in 2011.
