Toledo vs. Buffalo updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Tuesday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Toledo vs. Buffalo football game
Buffalo is 3-0 against Toledo since October of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Buffalo Bulls will head out on the road to face off against the Toledo Rockets at 7:30 p.m. ET at Glass Bowl. Buffalo is expected to lose this one by 14 points, so we'll see if that gives them a bit of motivation.
Buffalo was not the first on the board last Saturday, but they got there more often. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 win over Kent State.
Meanwhile, Toledo had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven last Saturday. They managed a 21-17 victory over Miami of Ohio.
Among those leading the charge was Dequan Finn, who threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Buffalo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Toledo, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1.
The two teams pleased both fans and bettors in their last contests by winning and covering the spread. Looking forward, Toledo is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 14 points. Buffalo might be worth a quick bet since they've sitting on a four game streak of covering the spread when playing on the road.
Buffalo was able to grind out a solid victory over Toledo in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, winning 34-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buffalo since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
