Tulane vs. Tulsa updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Tulane vs. Tulsa football game
Game Recap
The Tulane Green Wave fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 20-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 30-24 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head last November.
No one had a standout game offensively for Tulsa, but they got scores from WR Ezra Naylor II and RB Shamari Brooks. More help came courtesy of LB Justin Wright, who was good for ten tackles.
Despite the defeat, Tulane got a solid performance out of RB Tyjae Spears, who picked up 104 yards on the ground on 14 carries.
Tulane's overall record fell to 1-9. The win bumped Tulsa's record up to 4-6.
Tulane will be hunkering down at home again for their contest against the South Florida Bulls at noon ET Nov. 20 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium. South Florida's offense will be looking to get out and run against a South Florida squad that has given up 35 points on average this season. As for the Golden Hurricane, they will face off against the Temple Owls at 4 p.m. ET next Saturday at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium. Tulsa is 1-2 after wins this season, and Temple is 2-4 after losses.
