Tulsa vs. Navy updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Friday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Tulsa vs. Navy football game
Game Recap
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane were the 19-6 winners over the Navy Midshipmen when they previously met last December. On Friday? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for Tulsa as they fell 20-17 to Navy. What made the defeat an especially bitter pill for the Golden Hurricane to swallow was that they had been favored by 11 points coming into the game.
No one had a standout game offensively for Navy, but FB James Harris II led the way with one touchdown.
Like Navy, Tulsa didn't have any clear offensive standouts, but they got one touchdown from QB Davis Brin.
The loss dropped Tulsa's record to 3-5. The Midshipmen's victory brought them up to 2-6.
The Golden Hurricane will take on the Cincinnati Bearcats at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at Nippert Stadium. Navy will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Notre Dame Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET next week.
