Tulsa vs. UC Davis: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Thursday's NCAAF game

Game Recap

The best player on the turf between the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the UC Davis Aggies on Thursday ended up on the losing team. Although he couldn't prevent a 19-17 defeat to UC Davis, RB Deneric Prince rushed for one TD and 179 yards on 14 carries. That touchdown -- a 59-yard rush in the third quarter -- was one of the highlights of the contest.

UC Davis QB Hunter Rodrigues was slinging it as he passed for one TD and 311 yards on 35 attempts. The team can also thank their defense for forcing the opposing offense to cough up 4 turnovers.

The game pushed Tulsa down to 0-1 and pulled the Aggies up to the reverse at 1-0.

Tulsa will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys at noon ET next week at Boone Pickens Stadium. UC Davis is staying on the road next week to face off against the San Diego Toreros at 4 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Torero Stadium.
