UCLA vs. Colorado: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UCLA vs. Colorado football game
Game Recap
The UCLA Bruins were the big favorite in their most recent matchup, and for good reason. They blew past the Colorado Buffaloes 44-20 on Saturday. For UCLA, this is just revenge for the 48-42 loss they suffered against Colorado the last time they faced one another on Nov. 7 of last year.
The Bruins' QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson did his thing and accumulated 257 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 99 yards. Another playmaker for UCLA was WR Kyle Philips, who returned a punt 82 yards to the end zone in the fourth quarter.
Despite the defeat, Colorado had strong showings from RB Alex Fontenot, who punched in two rushing touchdowns, and RB Jarek Broussard, who picked up 108 yards on the ground on 16 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Fontenot has had all year.
UCLA's win brought them up to 6-4. The Buffaloes' loss pushed them down to 3-7.
The Bruins will square off against the USC Trojans at 3 p.m. ET next Saturday at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Unlike UCLA, USC will be stumbling in off of a loss. Colorado will be playing at home against the Washington Huskies at 3 p.m. ET next Saturday. Like Colorado, Washington is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 35-30 to the Arizona State Sun Devils.
