UConn vs. Duke updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Connecticut vs. Duke football game
Duke have so far played every game this season on their home-field, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will take on the UConn Huskies at 3:30 p.m. ET at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Duke will be looking to extend their current 5-game winning streak.
Last Saturday, everything went Duke's way against Northwestern as they made off with a 38-14 victory.
QB Riley Leonard looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 97 yards and two touchdowns. It was a true group effort though, as the team also got help from RB Jordan Waters, who rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, UConn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 24-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of FIU. UConn didn't live up to their potential and found themselves falling short of the advantage oddsmakers thought they had coming into the game.
RB Devontae Houston put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 126 yards, and also picked up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Looking ahead, the game looks promising for Duke, as the team is favored by a full 21.5 points. This will be their first time playing as the favorites on the road this season.
