UConn vs. Sacred Heart Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Connecticut vs. Sacred Heart football game
UConn is on a five-game streak of home losses, Sacred Heart a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The UConn Huskies will take on the Sacred Heart Pioneers at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
UConn gave up the first points and the most points on Saturday. They were completely outmatched by James Madison on the road and fell 44-6. UConn was surely aware of their disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart earned a 31-24 victory over CCSU last Saturday. The victory was just what Sacred Heart needed coming off of a 27-0 loss in their prior game.
Malik Grant was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Sacred Heart also got help from Aboraa Kwarteng who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.
James Madison's win bumped their season record to 10-0 while UConn's loss dropped theirs to 1-9.
