USF vs. MEM: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the South Florida vs. Memphis football game
Game Recap
On Saturday, the Memphis Tigers turned the game against the South Florida Bulls into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 549 yards to 144. Memphis steamrolled past South Florida 49-10. South Florida can consider this payback for the 49-42 loss they dealt the Tigers the last time the teams encountered one another November of 2016.
Memphis' offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 28 first-half points. South Florida wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 10 to make it 28-10 heading into the break. Memphis put the game away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
RB Patrick Taylor Jr. didn't help the Tigers' cause all that much against the Houston Cougars last week, but the same can't be said for this contest. Among those leading the charge for the Tigers was Taylor Jr., who rushed for 95 yards and three TDs on 17 carries. QB Brady White also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.
The Tigers will take on the Cincinnati Bearcats at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at home. As for the Bulls, they will face off against the UCF Knights at 8 p.m. ET at Spectrum Stadium.
