Utah State has been on the road for two straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. Utah State will be strutting in after a win while Nevada will be stumbling in from a loss.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Utah State ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against San Diego State by a score of 32-24. The win was just what Utah State needed coming off of a 42-21 loss in their prior game.
Utah State's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Davon Booth led the charge by rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown. Cooper Legas also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Nevada last Saturday, but the final result did not. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hawaii.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Sean Dollars, who rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Utah State's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Nevada, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Looking forward, Utah State is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 16.5 points.
