Unfortunately for Virginia Tech defensive end Dadi Nicolas, it is, and he's been suspended from the team indefinitely for a recent arrest.
"Virginia Tech redshirt freshman Dadi Nicolas was immediately suspended indefinitely from the football team upon his arrest in conjunction with University Policy 1035," a school spokesman told the Richmond Times-Dispatch. "Under university policy, a student-athlete arrested and charged with a felony is automatically suspended until charges are dropped."
Nicolas was arrested for an incident in May and charged with a second-degree grand felony. A charge that could see him face anywhere between one and 20 years in prison if the felony charge stands.
According to the Washington Post, Nicolas was allegedly an accomplice to the theft, which took place outside of a campus dining hall.
Nicolas is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on July 13.
