Virginia's three-game losing streak finally came to an end on Saturday. They skirted past Duke 30-27.
Anthony Colandrea had an outrageously good game as he threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns. Malik Washington was in the mix as well, providing Virginia with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Virginia Tech last Saturday, but the final result did not. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Carolina State.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kyron Drones, who threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Da'Quan Felton was another key contributor, picking up 87 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Virginia's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Virginia Tech, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
