Wake Forest vs. Boston College Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wake Forest vs. Boston College football game
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Boston College Eagles have had some time off and are no doubt ready to hit the field. Wake Forest and BC will face off in an ACC battle at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Truist Field. The Demon Deacons will be strutting in after a win while BC will be stumbling in from a loss.
Wake Forest took their matchup at home two weeks ago with ease, bagging a 45-10 victory over the Army West Point Black Knights. With Wake Forest ahead 21 to nothing at the half, the game was all but over already. Their success was spearheaded by the efforts of RB Justice Ellison, who punched in one rushing touchdown, and QB Sam Hartman, who passed for one TD and 246 yards on 19 attempts in addition to picking up 36 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Eagles were expected to have a tough go of it two weeks ago, and that's exactly how things played out. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 31-3 punch to the gut against the Clemson Tigers. QB Phil Jurkovec had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he fumbled the ball once with only 4.7 yards per passing attempt.
The Demon Deacons are the favorite in this one, with an expected 20.5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.
Wake Forest's victory brought them up to 5-1 while the Eagles' defeat pulled them down to 2-4. Wake Forest is 3-1 after wins this year, and BC is 2-1 after losses.
