Wake Forest vs. Pittsburgh: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wake Forest vs. Pittsburgh football game
Wake Forest will be in front of their home fans on Saturday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. They will take on the Pittsburgh Panthers at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Wake Forest is limping into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
Last Saturday, Wake Forest lost to Virginia Tech on the road by a decisive 30-13 margin.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh was not the first on the board last Saturday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Louisville by a score of 38-21 (the very same score they lost by the week prior). The win was some much needed relief for Pittsburgh as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Pittsburgh can attribute much of their success to Christian Veilleux, who threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns. M.J. Devonshire made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Pittsburgh's win bumped their season record to 2-5 while Wake Forest's loss dropped theirs to 4-3.
