WASH vs. UCLA updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday

Through 3 Quarters

The Washington Huskies need a win to get to even, but right now it could go either way. They and the UCLA Bruins are all tied up at 17.

The Huskies have been relying on RB Kamari Pleasant, who has picked up 75 yards on the ground on seven carries, and WR Rome Odunze, who has caught three passes for one TD and 54 yards. UCLA has been led by QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who so far has passed for one TD and 136 yards on 18 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 69 yards.

This is tied with the least points the Bruins have had yet this year going into the fourth quarter.

Who's Playing

UCLA @ Washington

Current Records: UCLA 4-2; Washington 2-3

What to Know

The Washington Huskies should come into this matchup well-rested after a week off from action. Washington and the UCLA Bruins will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. UCLA will be strutting in after a win while the Huskies will be stumbling in from a loss.

Washington might have drawn first blood against the Oregon State Beavers two weeks ago, but it was Oregon State who got the last laugh. Washington fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 27-24. QB Dylan Morris wasn't much of a difference maker for Washington; Morris threw one interception with only 142 yards passing.

Meanwhile, the Bruins didn't have too much trouble with the Arizona Wildcats on the road last week as they won 34-16. UCLA can attribute much of their success to RB Brittain Brown, who rushed for one TD and 146 yards on 12 carries.

This next game is expected to be close, with the Huskies going off at just a 1.5-point favorite. Currently 1-3 against the spread, they haven't been a good investment; on the other hand, UCLA is 4-2 ATS.

Washington is now 2-3 while UCLA sits at 4-2. Two defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Washington is stumbling into the matchup with the 190th most rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up nine on the season. UCLA has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 230th worst in the nation in passing yards allowed per game, with 307.8 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
