Washington secured an upset 27-21 win on Saturday over Michigan in a rematch of last year's College Football Playoff National Championship. The Huskies jumped out to an early 14-0 advantage, prompting Michigan to bench starting quarterback Alex Orji in favor of former Indiana signal caller Jack Tuttle in the first half.

Washington running back Jonah Coleman scored on a 1-yard go-ahead touchdown run with 6:22 remaining, and Huskies safety Kamren Fabiculanan intercepted Tuttle's pass to end the ensuing drive. Huskies kicker Grady Gross nailed a 32-yard field goal with 1:06 left in the game to all but seal the win. 

Michigan is now on its third quarterback after trotting out Davis Warren for the first three games of the season. First-year coach Sherrone Moore benched Warren before facing USC in Week 4, and although the run-first quarterback finished with only 32 passing yards in the 27-24 win over USC, the ground game did just enough to knock off the Trojans. 

Year 1 of the Jedd Fisch era at Washington has been a rollercoaster. The Huskies fell to in-state rival Washington State in the Apple Cup in Week 3 and were coming off a 21-18 loss to Rutgers in their first Big Ten conference game on the road.

Mississippi State transfer Will Rogers finished 21 of 32 for 271 yards and two touchdowns.

With losses to Texas and Washington, Michigan's chances of reaching the 12-team College Football Playoff through an at-large berth look grim. The Wolverines (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) will have opportunities to bolster their résumé with games against Illinois, Oregon, Indiana and Ohio State still on the schedule.

Washington (4-2, 2-1) will face Iowa next Saturday on the road. The Huskies sill have games against Indiana, USC, Penn State and Oregon left on the schedule.
