Live scores, highlights and updates from the Washington vs. Arizona State football game
Game Recap
After losing to the Washington Huskies the last time they met, the Arizona State Sun Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. ASU snuck past Washington with a 35-30 victory on Saturday. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the first quarter to overcome a 14 to nothing deficit.
RB Rachaad White continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, rushing for two TDs and 184 yards on 32 carries. Arizona State's LB Merlin Robertson got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the fourth quarter into a touchdown.
No one had a standout game offensively for the Huskies, but they got scores from RB Kamari Pleasant, TE Devin Culp, and RB Cameron Davis.
ASU's win brought them up to 7-3. Washington has fallen quite a ways from their 3-1 record from last season and are now 4-6.
ASU is on the road again next Saturday and plays against the Oregon State Beavers at 10:30 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Reser Stadium. Oregon State is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 35-14 victory over the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday. As for the Huskies, they will go up against the Colorado Buffaloes at 3 p.m. ET next Saturday at Folsom Field.
