If your best offense is a good defense, Florida might be the NCAA's scoring leader by season's end.
The Gators ran back not one, but two pick-sixes against Michigan during their opener in Arlington, Texas. Wolverines quarterback Wilton Speight threw two interceptions on back-to-back attempts during the first half of the game.
The first interception came off a tip, which isn't Speight's fault, and returned by Duke Dawson for 48 yards. The second interception, however, was a gross overthrow to a wide-open receiver and hit Florida's CJ Henderson in the hands for a 41-yard return.
The back-to-back picks prompted a change at quarterback for the Wolverines. Speight was benched in favor of Houston transfer John O'Korn.
