Nebraska wasn't the only team to touch everyone's hearts on Saturday during spring game action. Ohio State ended its spring on a positive note with a touchdown from honorary captain Jacob Jarvis, who took a handoff from J.T. Barrett, who came back into the game for the final play, for six points.
The idea, according to coach Urban Meyer, came from the players. The tuddy gave the Scarlet team a 44-31 "win."
If Jarvis' name sounds familiar, there's a reason. He's a Buckeyes superfan who helped the team hoist their national championship trophy two years ago. He's considered a "legit member of the team" by Meyer.
To say spring games don't matter isn't accurate. They do, just not always on the scoreboard.
