Tennessee was featured on the SEC on CBS for the third week in a row, and the Vols once again provided us all with one of the most exciting games of the weekend. Unfortunately for the Vols they weren't able to come away with a victory this time, though they did mount an improbably comeback to force overtime against the Aggies.
The Aggies won 45-38 in double overtime.
Honored during the game were this week's SEC Scholar Athletes.
One of the players recognized was Tennessee linebacker Kenny Bynum. The senior linebacker earned his undergraduate degree from Tennessee in Recreation & Sport Management in only three years. Bynum has a 3.63 GPA and in December he'll earn his master's degree in Recreation & Sports Management. He hopes to work in intercollegiate athletics administration once he's finished with his football career.
For Texas A&M we have senior defensive back Alex Sezer Jr. Sezer is Texas A&M's special teams captain, as he does most of his work there while also appearing in some nickel and dime packages on defense. Sezer has also put in plenty of work in the classroom, as he currently maintains a 3.77 GPA and will graduate in December, receiving his bachelor's degree in industrial distribution.
