West Virginia vs. Oklahoma: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the West Virginia vs. Oklahoma football game
The West Virginia Mountaineers are 0-6 against the Oklahoma Sooners since October of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. West Virginia and Oklahoma will face off in a Big 12 battle at noon ET at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
Last week, the Mountaineers lost to the Iowa State Cyclones on the road by a decisive 31-14 margin. One thing holding West Virginia back was the mediocre play of QB JT Daniels, who did not have his best game: despite one touchdown, he threw one interception with a passing completion percentage of only 36.36%.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma was close but no cigar last week as they fell 38-35 to the Baylor Bears. The losing side was boosted by RB Eric Gray, who rushed for two TDs and 106 yards on 23 carries.
West Virginia is expected to lose this next one by 8. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 1-4-1 ATS when expected to lose.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
