Wisconsin vs. Iowa updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wisconsin vs. Iowa football game
The Wisconsin Badgers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Iowa Hawkeyes at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Last Saturday, Wisconsin was able to grind out a solid win over Rutgers, taking the game 24-13.
Wisconsin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Mordecai out in front who threw for 145 yards and a touchdown. Wisconsin also got a significant boost from Braelon Allen, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Iowa beat Purdue 20-14 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Iowa.
Iowa's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaleb Johnson, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Johnson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Erick All, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Iowa's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Leading the way was Logan Lee and his two sacks.
Their wins bumped Wisconsin to 4-1 and Iowa to 5-1.
Going forward, Wisconsin is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by ten points. This contest will be their sixth straight as the favorites (so far over this stretch they are 2-3 against the spread).
Wisconsin lost to Iowa at home by a decisive 24-10 margin when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Will Wisconsin have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check CBS Sports after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more college football content.
