Kay Felder: Let go by Raptors
Felder was waived by the Raptors on Friday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
Felder didn't impress enough to make the Raptors' final roster. He played 140 NBA minutes last season between Chicago and Detroit, and it seems likely he'll end up spending most of this season in the G-League or overseas.

Raptors' Kay Felder: Inks camp deal with Toronto
Felder has signed a one-year, partially guaranteed contract to compete for a roster spot with the Raptors during training camp, Sam Amick of USA Today reports.
Felder played 16 games between Chicago and Detroit last season, but spent most of his time in the G-League, where he started 19 of his 20 appearances. There, he averaged 16.8 points, 5.8 assists and 1.6 steals while shooting 41.1 percent from the field. In the event he's unable to make the Raptors' roster, he'd likely head back to the G-League to continue refining his skills.

Kay Felder: Headed for free agency
Felder won't be tendered a qualifying offer from the Pistons and will become an unrestricted free agent, Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Felder started the 2017-18 campaign with Chicago, playing in 14 games before being waived. He then joined the Pistons on a two-way contact, but saw action in just two games while spending most of his time in the G-League. In 20 games with the G-League's Drive, Felder averaged 16.8 points, 5.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals across 30.1 minutes. Instead of re-upping Felder, the Pistons have officially declined to give him a qualifying offer, which means he'll be an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Felder should find a team willing to bring him in for training camp, though he's not guaranteed a final roster spot.

Felder mustered 3.6 points, 1.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds through 16 games played with the Pistons and Bulls during the 2017-18 season.

Pistons' Kay Felder: Called up for remainder of season
Felder has been called up from the G-League Grand Rapids Drive and will remain with the Pistons for the remainder of the season, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
With the Drive's season coming to a close, the organization will opt to bring Felder up to the Pistons. That said, it seems doubtful he'll see significant run, as the team has a fairly established rotation.

Kay Felder: 19 points in win
Felder provided 19 points (6-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and two rebounds during Thursday's 112-102 taming of the BayHawks.
Felder lead all Grand Rapids' scorers Thursday, though he struggled somewhat shooting the ball from the field (40 percent). One of the 22-year-old's major strengths is free-throw shooting, as he has made his last 23 attempts and has converted 88.2 percent of all shots this season. The former Oakland University star is averaging 17.5 points, 6.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds through 18 games played for Grand Rapids.

Kay Felder: 28 and 11 in loss
Felder managed 28 points (9-23 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 9-9 FT), 11 assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block during Saturday's 110-106 loss at Greensboro.
This was Felder's highest scoring game and second double-double this season while also contributing with a mark in every major statistical category. One weakness of the former Oakland University star though has been his inability to convert three-point shots, as he is only knocking down 32.4 percent of all attempts. Still, the 22-year-old is averaging a fine 17.0 points, 5.9 assists and 4.0 rebounds for Grand Rapids.

Felder amassed 15 points (6-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, five rebounds and one steal during Wednesday's 115-104 loss to the visiting Mad Ants.
Since signing with Grand Rapids on Jan. 17, Felder has been a reliable offensive contributor like his performance Wednesday. The 22-year-old guard has scored in double digits in eight straight games while carrying his season average to 16.8 points per game. In addition, Felder is also averaging an impressive 5.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds across 13 games played this season.

Pistons' Kay Felder: Will be available Monday
Felder will be available for Monday's game against the Blazers, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
Felder has spent the last few weeks with the Grand Rapids Drive, but with Dwight Buycks (illness) out of action and Luke Kennard (foot) banged up -- on top of Reggie Jackson's continued absence -- Felder will be active and available off the bench. The Oakland (MI) product is yet to appear in an NBA game for the Pistons after spending time with the Cavs and Bulls earlier this season.

Pistons' Kay Felder: Inks two-way deal with Detroit
Felder has agreed to a two-way contract with the Pistons, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
Felder was let go by Chicago in mid-December after struggling to find a role amongst the various point guards on the team (especially Kris Dunn and Jerian Grant). In 14 appearances with the team, he averaged 3.9 points and 1.4 assists across 9.6 minutes per game. In signing a two-way deal with Detroit, Felder can spend up to 45 days at the NBA level, but will be in the G-League most of the remainder of the season, where he's averaged 17.3 points and 4.7 assists across 33.1 minutes per game in three appearances this season.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Waived by Chicago
Felder was let go by the Bulls on Tuesday.
Felder was struggling to carve out a role in Chicago with Kris Dunn and Jerian Grant playing well, appearing in just 14 games and averaging 9.6 minutes in those efforts. As it stands, he's been a fringe NBA player and has spent significant time in the G-League. He's just 22 years old, however, so it wouldn't be surprising if another organization took a chance on him.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Recalled from G-League
Felder was recalled from the G-League on Sunday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Felder took the court for Windy City on Saturday, posting 11 points (4-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds, five assists and a steal across 31 minutes. However, he'll now return to the big league, as he's already been recalled by the Bulls. With all that said, Felder isn't a part of the team's regular rotation, so he'll remain off the fantasy radar for now.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Sent back to G-League
Felder was reassigned to the G-League on Saturday, Vincent Goodwill of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The point guard hasn't been in the rotation of late, so he'll join the WIndy City Bulls for an opportunity to play regularly at the G-League level. Felder has appeared in only two of the Bulls' last 11 games.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Recalled from G-League
Felder was recalled from the G-League's Windy City Bulls on Saturday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Felder has bounced back and forth between the NBA and the G-League this season, as coach Fred Hoiberg has decided to deploy the duo of Kris Dunn and Jerian Grant at point guard as of late, leaving Felder to be an odd man out on many nights. He's played in just three of the team's past 10 contests. He's gotten extended run in the G-league, however. There, Felder has played two games, posting 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists across 34.2 minutes per contest.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Assigned to G-League
Felder was sent down to the G-League on Tuesday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Felder didn't play in four of the Bulls' last five games. The 22-year-old is averaging 10.0 minutes per game and is shooting a career-low 30.8 percent from the field across 13 games. He'll likely continue to struggle seeing the court deep into the season, if he's even recalled from the G-League.

Bulls' Kay Felder: Scores nine points in Tuesday's loss
Felder finished with nine points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two assists, and one rebound in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 119-114 loss to the Raptors.
Felder has appeared in seven of nine games, and this was the fifth time he earned double-digit minutes. With that being said, Felder has seen the floor in just three of five contests while averaging 7.7 minutes since the return of sophomore Kris Dunn (compared to 14.8 minutes per night before that). Dunn and starting point guard Jerian Grant combined to play 48 minutes on Tuesday, so Felder will need to hope that Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg continues to prove willing to play lineups with multiple point guards. Even then, Felder is best left on the waiver wires in most leagues.
