Bryce Alford: Misses G League finale
Alford did not play in Windy City's win over Capital City on Saturday due to an unspecified injury.
The nature of Alford's injury is unclear, but it caused him to miss his final chance to play for the G League Bulls this season. The 27-year-old's playing time had been on the decline of late, as he logged less than six minutes in three of his final four contests. Alford ended the regular season with per-game averages of 8.3 points, 2.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers. His shooting percentage from beyond the arc (37.1 percent) was better than his overall field-goal rate (36.1 percent).

Bryce Alford: Losing playing time
Alford logged only five minutes in Windy City's 124-118 win over Westchester on Sunday, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds.
Alford regularly saw minutes in the 20s and 30s through most of the early part of the regular season, but he has played fewer than 20 minutes in four of his past seven games. His playing time Sunday was a season low and came after an 0-for-5 performance across 18 minutes in his previous contest. Alford's decreasing opportunity may be tied to his shooting struggles; the former UCLA Bruin is shooting only 36.4 percent from the field on the campaign.

Bryce Alford: Returns to Windy City on Sunday
Alford played 12 minutes in Windy City's loss to Fort Wayne on Sunday, scoring six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt), dishing two assists and grabbing one rebound.
Alford missed over two weeks due to an ankle injury, but we was able to return to the court Sunday. As usual, the 27-year-old spent much of his time beyond the three-point line, taking all five of his shot attempts from deep. On the season, 78.9 percent of Alford's shots have come from beyond the arc, and he is converting on those tries at a 39.8 percent rate.

Bryce Alford: Can't get going from deep
Alford scored five points (1-8 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and grabbed three rebounds Tuesday in a 130-93 G League loss to the Raptors 905.
Windy City as a whole shot a miserable 33.7 percent from the field in the blowout loss, so Alford wasn't alone in his shooting woes. The 27-year-old has had his share of poor shooting performances throughout the G League season, however, as he is connecting at a 36.3 percent clip from the field. Alford's overall 34.6 percent mark from three-point range is more tolerable, and he had connected on at least one triple in nine straight contests before Tuesday.

Bryce Alford: Posts another solid G League line
Alford tallied 14 points (4-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, two rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot over 34 minutes for Windy City in a loss to Wisconsin on Sunday.
Alford has scored exactly 14 points on 4-for-11 shooting in each of his past two contests. That's a big step up from his output during the Showcase portion of the schedule, when he was held scoreless three times in nine games. Alford continues to shoot poorly, however, and his overall 35.0 percent field-goal rate this season leaves much to be desired.

Bryce Alford: Scores 14 points for Windy City
Alford totaled 14 points (4-11 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals over 28 minutes in Windy City's loss to Cleveland on Tuesday.
Alford had scored a combined 11 points over his previous three contests, and Tuesday's performance was arguably his best since he poured in 20 points against Wisconsin on Nov. 29. The 26-year-old has come off the bench for each of his 12 games with Windy City this season, but he is averaging over 24 minutes per contest. Alford hasn't taken advantage of the opportunity, as he is averaging just 7.4 points on 34.8 percent shooting on the campaign.

Alford tallied 20 points (7-14 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes Monday in Windy City's loss to Wisconsin.
Alford entered the contest having made just four of 23 shots (17.4 percent) over his previous three games, but he got hot against Wisconsin and finished with season highs in points (20) and three-pointers (five). Alford got plenty of run off the bench in the contest, and he chipped in a healthy number of boards and dimes. However, the UCLA product continues to struggle from the field -- he is making just 34.6 percent of his shot attempts on the campaign, including just 25.0 percent from beyond the arc. Alford played the previous two campaigns overseas in Europe.

Alford finished Friday's loss to the Hustle with 25 points (10-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and one steal.
Alford led the Blue in scoring despite a muted effort by the rest of the starting lineup, but it's worth pointing this is only the third time since early January that the 24-year-old has scored more than 20 points in a given game. Alford is averaging 14.2 points, 3.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 46 games this season.

Thursday marked a very efficient shooting effort for the second-year UCLA product, but he also committed five turnovers. The Blue led throughout, yet stuck with an eight man rotation, allowing Alford to once again see plenty of run. Alford and his teammates now travel to Westchester for Saturday's match-up with the Knicks.

Bryce Alford: Waived by Oklahoma City
The Thunder waived Alford on Wednesday, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
Alford was just a camp body for the Thunder and was never considered a serious threat to crack the season-opening roster. Unless he decides to try his luck overseas, Alford could remain in the organization and join the Thunder's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Alford recorded 23 points (8-18 FG, 7-15 3Pt), four assists and three rebounds during Tuesday's loss at Rio Grande.
All but two points scored by the the four-year standout at UCLA came from three-point land, as he took a career high in three-point attempts and converted seven of them. A high majority of Alford's shots during the season have come from behind the arc, where he is shooting an impressive 40 percent. The 23-year-old is not much of a threat to other statistical categories though, as he is only averaging 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

Bryce Alford: Waived by Thunder
Alford was waived by the Thunder on Wednesday, Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman reports.
Alford signed a training camp deal with the team back in August, but seemingly couldn't impress the Thunder brass enough to warrant a roster spot. It seems probable he'll look for work in the G-League.
