Jaylen Smith: Heading to Seattle
The Seahawks signed Smith to the practice squad Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Smith signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2019, but he was ultimately cut loose ahead of his rookie regular season. He then spent some time with Seattle's practice squad campaign before logging stints in the CFL and XFL. With Seahawks wideouts Dee Eskridge (hand) and Cody Thompson (shoulder) both on IR, Smith will now look to make his NFL debut as a potential elevation from the team's practice squad moving forward.

Jaylen Smith: Joins Seahawks' practice squad
The Seahawks signed Smith to the practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Smith spent time in Baltimore during the offseason, and he'll now get the chance to impress on Seattle's practice squad for the postseason. The undrafted rookie out of Louisville could offer decent upside as a special-teams contributor and depth wideout.

Jaylen Smith: Cut loose by Baltimore
Smith was waived by the Ravens on Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL.com reports.
Smith signed with Baltimore in April after going undrafted out of Louisville, but his road to the 53-man roster was always a tough one. The 22-year-old played in all four preseason contests but failed to make much of an impact, catching only one pass for nine yards.

Ravens' Jaylen Smith: Removed from NFI list
Smith (undisclosed) was removed from the Non-Football Injury list, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Well, that didn't take long. The rookie wideout evidently hadn't passed his conditioning test, prompting the Ravens to place the undrafted free agent on NFI list Friday, but Smith was quickly able to remedy the issue. It's possible the 21-year-old could play his way onto the 53-man roster with a solid training camp, so any missed time would have ultimately been a detriment.

Ravens' Jaylen Smith: Placed on NFI list
The Ravens placed Smith on their Non-Football Injury list with an undisclosed issue, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
A leg injury limited Smith during OTAs, though it's unclear if this is an aggravation of that injury or if it's a new issue. Even when healthy, the 21-year-old may still be a long shot to land a depth role in Baltimore's receiving corps.

Ravens' Jaylen Smith: Active in minicamp
Smith (leg) participated in June minicamp, Aaron Kasinitz of PennLive.com reports.
An unspecified leg injury limited Smith during OTAs, but his participation in team drills during minicamp reveals that he's since been cleared to return to the field. In any case, the undrafted rookie remains a long shot to land a depth role at receiver in advance of the 2019 campaign.

Ravens' Jaylen Smith: Limited at OTAs
Smith was spotted at OTAs with his leg heavily wrapped Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic of The Athletic reports.
Smith was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent. The Louisville product has solid speed -- he ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at the combine -- and could have a decent chance of making Baltimore's roster and joining former Louisville teammate Lamar Jackson. This injury could potentially make that pursuit a little more difficult, depending on how serious it is. Added context on that front should arrive as OTAs roll on.

Jaylen Smith: Heading to Baltimore
The Ravens are expected to sign Smith as an undrafted free agent, Justin Sayers of The Louisville Courier Journal reports.
Smith showed his solid speed at the combine, where he produced a 4.47 40-yard dash. In 12 games with Louisville last season, he caught 36 passes for 550 yards and just one touchdown. Smith should be given a decent chance to secure a roster spot for 2019, considering the Ravens just drafted Oklahoma's Marquise Brown in the first round.
