Collins' (concussion) 21-day practice window expired Wednesday, and he'll remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
The Giants designated Collins for return from injured reserve Dec. 10, but after the concussion was added to his existing neck injury on Dec. 12, he didn't practice again before his window to return from IR closed Wednesday. The undrafted rookie will finish the campaign with two catches (on six targets) for 25 yards in nine appearances.

Collins' DNP on Wednesday suggests he won't be activated from the injured reserve list by the end of his 21-day practice window, meaning he's ineligible to return for Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys. Collins will miss his seventh straight contest after suffering a neck injury Nov. 2 in a game against San Francisco. He was designated to return to practice Dec. 10 and initially logged a full practice, but he's now been unable to practice in any capacity the past two weeks. Collins suffered a neck injury against the 49ers in Week 9. He was ultimately placed on injured reserve Nov. 8 and has since missed the required four games. With an additional week to recover during New York's Week 14 bye, Collins now appears to be back to full health. He may be able to suit up and log a depth wideout role against Washington this Sunday, but the Giants would first need to activate him by Saturday afternoon.
