  • Kaden Prather: Works out for Atlanta

The Falcons worked out Prather (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Prather was selected in the seventh round of this year's NFL Draft by the Bills but battled a hamstring injury for most of training camp and the preseason, and was eventually cut ahead of Week 1. Now healthy, Prather will try to find work elsewhere.

  • Kaden Prather: Cut with injury settlement

The Bills waived Prather (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Prather was cut with an injury designation last week and reverted to the Bills' injured-reserve list once he cleared waivers. He's now free to sign elsewhere after playing 10 offensive snaps during the preseason after Buffalo used a seventh-round pick on Prather back in April.

  • Bills' Kaden Prather: Reverts to IR

Prather (undisclosed) went unclaimed on waivers and reverted to injured reserve, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Prather missed a large portion of training camp due to a hamstring issue and was waived just one day after returning to practice. He'll need to agree to be waived with an injury settlement in order to have a chance to suit up in 2025.

  • Kaden Prather: Waived with injury designation

Buffalo waived Prather (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday.

Prather was dealing with a hamstring injury early in camp but was healthy enough to play in this past Sunday's preseason game against Chicago, where he logged 10 offensive snaps. The seventh-round rookie out of Maryland will revert to the Bills' injured-reserve list if he clears waivers.

  • Bills' Kaden Prather: Over hamstring issue

Prather (hamstring) played in Sunday's preseason game against the Bears.

Prather missed a chunk of time early in camp and the Bills' first exhibition. He played 10 offensive snaps versus Chicago but failed to secure his lone target. At this point, Prather is an extreme long shot to make Buffalo's 53-man roster.

  • Bills' Kaden Prather: Working through hamstring injury

Prather (hamstring) did not participate in Monday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports.

The rookie seventh-rounder is competing for a spot on the Bills' 53-man roster, but he will be limited to sideline work while nursing a hamstring injury. With Prather, Elijah Moore (leg) and Curtis Samuel (hamstring) all sidelined, players like Laviska Shenault, Jalen Virgil and KJ Hamler will see an uptick in practice reps.

  • Bills' Kaden Prather: Late-round pick for Buffalo

The Bills selected Prather in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 240th overall.

Prather had a productive career at West Virginia and Maryland, topping 50 catches in three of his four years between the two schools. He has an old-school profile, relying on length and speed to beat defenders outside the numbers. It remains to be seen if he can stick in Buffalo, particularly considering the relatively similar playing style to Keon Coleman, but Prather should be able to compete for the fifth wide receiver role.
