Rams' Byron Young: Records first sack since Week 7
Young recorded eight tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Panthers.
The Rams' starting outside linebacker was able to burst through the line to sack Bryce Young late in the second quarter. Young also recorded his most tackles since Week 6 in the contest, and now sits in a tie for eighth with Tuli Tuipulotu with 10.0 sacks on the season. He'll look to add to his totals against Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals in Week 14.

Rams' Byron Young: Expected to play
Young (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Despite logging only a single limited practice in Thursday's session, Young is expected to suit up for the Rams' Week 13 contest. The starting outside linebacker has not missed a game this season and will look to add to his 53 total tackles, including 9.0 sacks, this Sunday.

Rams' Byron Young: Likely playing in Week 13
Young (knee) won't practice Friday but is expected to play in Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Despite Young downgrading from a limited practice session Thursday to a DNP on Friday, he's expected to suit up for the Week 13 contest. The third-year pro from Tennessee has appeared in all 11 of the Rams' games this season, recording 53 total tackles, including 9.0 sacks, and one forced fumble. If active as expected, Young will likely start opposite Jared Verse to form Los Angeles' top edge-rush duo.

Young logged six of his eight stops in the first half and finished second on the Rams in tackles behind Nate Landman (17). Young's two sacks on Tyler Huntley came on back-to-back plays late in the fourth quarter, which extended the former's streak of at least 0.5 sacks in a game to six. Young is up to 7.5 sacks on the year, which ties his total from 2024, leads the NFC and is second most in the league behind Denver's Nik Bonitto (8.0).
