Wilson was waived by the Jets on Sunday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Wilson hasn't made an NFL team out of camp since originally being signed out of college in 2023. However, he had significant success in the CFL in 2024 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, so he could latch onto a practice squad or head north once again.

New York signed Wilson to a reserve/future contract Friday.
Wilson will get a chance to continue his development as a member of the Jets this offseason. He has yet to make his regular-season NFL debut since going undrafted out of Florida State back in 2023. Wilson's best odds of sticking around with New York will be to carve out a niche for himself on special teams.

Wilson was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday.
Wilson signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent following the draft in April and was attempting to earn a depth receiver role. The rookie out of Florida State ultimately came up short, but it remains to be seen if he will catch an opportunity with LA's practice squad.
