Draft Scouting Report
Rating: 72.28 (Chance to start)
Pro Comparison: D.J. Reed
Strengths:
Springy outside cornerback with good mirroring skills and above-average abilit to drive on the football. The suddenness is there, he just gets a tick high sinking in coverage. Experienced, decently twitchy CB with some clear limitations to his game.
Weaknesses:
There's awkwardness in his backpedal. Speed is good but could be exploited by faster WRs at NFL level. Physicality is an issue, easily moved by receivers with subtle push offs in their routes. Misses a good amount of tackles, not very active in run support altogether. Has nickel CB size but mostly played on the perimeter in college. Not a ball-skills specialist.
Accolades:
- 2020: All-Pac-12 first team
- 28.1 kick return average in three seasons at Oregon
