  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Comes off IR

The Jaguars reinstated Robinson (toe) from injured reserve Tuesday.

A 2024 fifth-round draft pick out of Alabama, Robinson has been sidelined for the Jaguars' first 11 games with a toe injury suffered early in training camp, but he'll get the chance to make his NFL debut coming out of the team's Week 12 bye. After being designated for return from IR on Oct. 30, Robinson has been a full practice participant for the past three weeks, an indication he's made a full recovery from the toe issue. With Travis Etienne, Tank Bigsby (ankle) and D'Ernest Johnson ahead of him in on the depth chart, Robinson may not have an opportunity to contribute on offense right away and could instead see most of his snaps on special teams, where he could be a factor as a return man.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Won't return for Week 11

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Robinson started the regular season on injured reserve due to a toe injury he suffered in late July. His 21-day practice window to return from IR opened Oct. 30, and while he was able to practice in full all week, he'll be held out for one more game. The Jaguars are on a bye for Week 12, so Robinson's next chance to suit up will be Week 13 against the Texans on Sunday, Dec. 1.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Won't play vs. Philadelphia

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Robinson began the regular season on injured reserve due to a toe injury he suffered during training camp. His 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, and while he was a full practice participant in all three sessions this week, he will not be activated from IR before Sunday's contest. Robinson's next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against Minnesota on Sunday, Nov. 10.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Questionable for Week 9

Robinson (toe) is questionable for Sunday's contest against the Eagles.

Robinson has missed the entirety of the 2024 season to this point with a toe injury he suffered in training camp, but he did have his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday. The running back was a full participant at all three practice sessions this week, opening the door for him to be activated from injured reserve for the team's matchup with Philadelphia.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Practice window opens

The Jaguars designated Robinson (toe) for return from injured reserve Wednesday.

Robinson's toe injury dates back to early in training camp and resulted in the Jaguars placing him on IR prior to Week 1. The rookie fifth-round pick is now ready to resume practicing, with the transaction opening up a 21-day evaluation window before he would need to be moved to the 53-man roster. Once activated, Robinson will provide depth out of the backfield behind Travis Etienne (hamstring), Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson, but the 24-year-old may make his greatest impact in the return game.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Placed on IR with return designation

Robinson (toe) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a designation to return.

A new rule allows two players from each team to be designated for return when placed on injured reserve the day of roster cutdowns. Robinson, a rookie fifth-round pick, will now be out for at least the first four games of the season, with Week 5 marking his earliest possible date for an NFL debut. He's been out with a toe injury since late July, unable to practice or play in preseason games. Robinson had only 796 rushing yards and 332 receiving yards across one season at Alabama and three at Texas, but he added 897 yards on 38 kick returns (23.6 average) over his final two years. Robinson then ran a 4.42 40 at the 2024 Combine, confirming his potential as a return man in the NFL.

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out of the Jaguars' preseason opener against the Chiefs on Saturday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Robinson has been dealing with a toe injury since July 31, and since then he's been limited to individual drills. The rookie fifth-round running back is competing against Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson for the backup spot behind Travis Etienne. Robinson will work to be available for the Jaguars' second preseason game against the Buccaneers on Aug. 17.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Moves to individual drills

Robinson (toe) will return to practice for individual drills Friday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.

Robinson hasn't practiced in the recent days due to the same toe problems, but it appears he at least is moving in the right direction. Getting on the field and competing as soon as possible will be important for the rookie out of Texas, as he is battling against Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson to be Travis Etienne's backup this season.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Misses Wednesday's practice

Robinson (toe) didn't practice Wednesday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.

The first-year running back out of Texas seems to be dealing with a toe issue that caused him to be sidelined Wednesday. Once Robinson returns to the field, he's expected to compete with Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson for the Jaguars' top backup RB spot.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Duval bound

The Jaguars selected Robinson in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 167th overall.

Robinson never got his chance to shine as a running back in college whether it was at Alabama or Texas, as he was stuck behind the likes of Najee Harris, Bijan Robinson or Jonathon Brooks. He had just 82 career carries for 542 yards and six touchdowns to go with 35 grabs for 332 yards and three scores on 43 targets. That's solid efficiency, but there's no proof that it will hold up over a bigger sample. Where Robinson shines is in the return game, and that will likely be his meal ticket in Jacksonville, especially with the new return rules. Robinson ran a kick back for a touchdown in 2023 and was clocked with a 4.42 in the 40 at the combine. He's unlikely to be much of a fantasy factor barring significant attrition in the Jags' backfield. And the addition of Devin Duvernay this offseason complicates his path to being used in the return game.
