Caden Davis: Let go by Buffalo
The Bills waived Davis on Wednesday.
Davis caught on with the Bills in early August to give the team depth at kicker while Tyler Bass was sidelined due to a pelvic injury. Bass is targeting his return for Saturday's preseason finale against Tampa Bay, so Davis' services are no longer required by Buffalo. Davis should get another opportunity from a team in need of a kicker as the regular season approaches.

Bills' Caden Davis: Signs with Buffalo
The Bills signed Davis on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Tyler Bass is dealing with a pelvic injury, so the Bills need a kicker for at least Saturday's preseason contest against the Giants. Davis has yet to kick in a regular-season NFL game.

Caden Davis: Waived by Jets
The Jets waived Davis on Tuesday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.
Davis inked a deal with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in May and outlasted both Anders Carlson and Greg Zuerlein (knee) in the team's kicker competition, but it appears his performance hasn't matched expectations to begin training camp. Following Davis' exit, Harrison Mevis is the lone remaining kicker on New York's roster.
