Rams' Jared Verse: Notches 7.5 sacks in Year 2
Verse recorded 58 tackles (35 solo), including 7.5 sacks, a pass defensed and three forced fumbles over 17 regular-season games in 2025.
The second verse was nearly identical to the first for the 2024 first-round pick for the Rams, as his tackles decreased by six year-to-year, but he recorded 3.0 additional sacks and one more forced fumble while operating as half of a dominant duo alongside Byron Young. Verse's play was rewarded with a selection as a 2026 NFL Pro Bowler alongside Young, and Verse should continue his ascension towards being one of the top linebackers in the NFL in his third season.

Rams' Jared Verse: Logs 2.0 sacks in Week 12 victory
Verse totaled four tackles (three solo), including 2.0 sacks, in a 34-7 rout over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Verse's first sack came on a takedown of Baker Mayfield two players before the end of the first half, and Verse later sacked backup Teddy Bridgewater early in the fourth period. Sunday marked the first time this season Verse has posted multiple sacks in a game. After totaling 4.5 sacks over 17 regular-season games as a rookie last year, Verse is up to 6.0 sacks across 11 contests this season.

Rams' Jared Verse: Takes down Lawrence in London
Verse recorded two total tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 35-7 win over the Jaguars.
The 2024 first-round pick from Florida State has now tallied 30 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, through the first seven games of his second NFL season. Verse has also forced three fumbles, which ties Quinnen Williams for the third most in the league. He's expected to continue starting opposite Byron Young to form one of the scariest pass-rush duos in the NFL following the Rams' Week 8 bye.

Verse registered six tackles (four solo) during the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Verse played a season-high 74 defensive snaps Thursday, though he wasn't able to extend his sack streak to three games. He's logged at least five tackles in each of his last three games, and the 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year has 22 tackles (14 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles through the first five games of the regular season.

Verse recorded a sack for a second straight game, when he got to Daniel Jones late in the fourth quarter for a nine-yard loss.
