Andre Carter: Let go by Miami
The Dolphins waived Carter on Monday.
The move corresponds with the Dolphins signing Quinton Bell from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday night's game against the Steelers. Carter signed with the Dolphins in early November after he failed to make the Raiders' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, though he did not appear in a regular-season game for Miami before being let go.

Raiders' Andre Carter: Inks deal with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Carter off the Vikings' practice squad Wednesday.
The Army product's signing ensures depth at defensive end in Las Vegas, with Maxx Crosby (ankle) and Malcolm Koonce (knee) both sidelined for the remainder of the season. Carter has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game this year, but he'll likely serve as a depth piece on the Raiders' defensive line in the Week 16 matchup against the Jaguars.

Vikings' Andre Carter: Placed on active/PUP list
The Vikings placed Carter on the active/PUP list with an undisclosed injury Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Carter signed with Minnesota as an UDFA out of Army at the end of April, but he's dealing with an undisclosed injury and won't be available to start training camp. It's unclear how long he'll be sidelined, but the 23-year-old is eligible to practice and/or play at any point during the preseason.

Vikings' Andre Carter: Inks deal with Minnesota
Minnesota signed Carter as an undrafted free agent Saturday.
In 2021, Carter posted 15.5 sacks for Army and was named to the AP All-American team, but he struggled to replicate his pass-rushing production last season. The 6-foot-7 linebacker has the size and speed to be an elite playmaker, but his lack of refined skills may make his transition to the NFL difficult.
