The Angels released Cimber (shoulder) on July 23.
Cimber was moved off the Angels' 40-man roster July 22 and was given the opportunity to find work in another organization after clearing waivers a day later. The 33-year-old right-hander posted a 7.03 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 24.1 innings out of the Angels bullpen before landing on the injured list June 15 with shoulder inflammation. Once Cimber is healthy enough to sign with a team, he'll likely have to settle for a minor-league contract.
