Hansen announced his retirement Thursday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Hansen was a second-round pick by the White Sox in 2016 and failed to appear in the majors during his career. He appeared in Double-A games across four seasons and posted a 5.83 ERA and 2.05 WHIP in 108 innings.
