Meyer allowed one run over 3.1 innings against the A's on Wednesday, walking four batters and striking out five in 68 pitches.
Meyer showcased strikeout stuff in his debut with the Angels, but had trouble finding the plate, which contributed to a shortened outing. It goes without saying that Meyer is a work in progress, but the Angels will likely live with a few bumps and bruises, as he has a fastball that can reach into the upper-90s. He may see a few more starts in September, but Meyer probably shouldn't be used in most leagues until he smoothes out some of the rough edges.
